New Year's Service and General Meeting

Sozenji will conduct the 2009 New Year Service (Year of the Ox) at the temple on Sunday, January 4, 2009. The service will be held at 10:00 am, followed by the annual members general meeting at 10:30 am. A New Year luncheon will follow at NBC Restaurant in Monterey Park. Cost for the luncheon is $20 per person. To make reservations for the luncheon, call the temple at (323) 724-6866.

Spring Ohigan Service

This year's Spring Ohigan Service will take place on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at 10:00 am at the temple. The Ohigan Service welcomes the spring equinox and is one of the two times of the year when the daytime and nighttime hours are even thereby bringing everything in harmony in the world. Please come to this important service celebrating nature and harmony. Family and friends are invited. The Sozenji Fujinkai will serve refreshments.
